The Part S “Sustainability” Guidelines focuses on the measures required to create and maintain Healthcare facilities which are environmentally sustainable. These measures are in addition to all pre-existing requirements such as the balance of the DOH Health Facility Guidelines. Part S Guidelines have 3 levels with level 1 being mandatory for all facilities, both new and existing.

Part S Guidelines are aligned with the Government initiatives for the reduction of Carbon footprint, progressing towards the goal of Net Zero by 2050.
